10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-55) – Officer (Permanent Commission)

  • Total Vacancies (Provisional): 90 posts for TES-55 course.

Important Dates

  • Online Application Start Date: 14 October 2025.
  • Last Date to Apply: 13 November 2025 (by 1200 Hrs) according to notification.
  • SSB Interview Tentative Dates: February – March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a person of Indian origin settled permanently in India (conditions apply).

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 16½ years
  • Maximum Age: 19½ years
  • Born between 02 January 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification

  • Passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM).
  • Minimum aggregate: 60% or more in PCM in 10+2.
  • Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025.

Marital Status

  • Unmarried male candidates only.

Application Fee

  • Nil (₹ 0/-) for all categories.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official recruitment portal at: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
  2. Click on the “Online Application” link for TES-55 (July 2026 Course).
  3. Register/login and fill the online application form with required personal, educational & other details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, certificates (10+2, JEE appearance, etc) as per specifications.
  5. Submit the application before the last date (13 Nov 2025). Ensure you print/save the acknowledgement for future reference.
  6. No fee payment required, but ensure form submission is complete and credentials are correct.

Selection Process

  • Step 1: Screening/shortlisting of applications based on eligibility & JEE(Mains) performance.
  • Step 2: SSB Interview (2-stage) at designated Selection Centres.
  • Step 3: Medical Examination for recommended candidates.
  • Step 4: Merit list & final commissioning as Lieutenant under Permanent Commission.

Salary / Training Details

  • During training, cadets receive stipend equivalent to NDA cadets (approx ₹ 56,100/month after 3 years training) as per one source.
  • Upon commissioning, pay as per Officer rank in technical branch (levels etc as per 7th CPC) will apply.
