CAT 2016 Exam Pattern

The Common Admission Test 2016 is a computer based test and the duration of the examination will be 180 minutes. The CAT 2016 contains 3 sections are Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks and each negative answer 1 mark and no negative marks are given or deducted for unattempted questions. Applicants will be allotted exactly 60 minutes for answering questions in each section and they cannot switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
