Finally Delhi University will release the first cut off list for all colleges admission to its undergraduate programs, 25 June 2015. Students who are waiting for the DU cut off list 2015 are informed that Delhi University will announce the DU first cut off list 2015 for admission to UG programs. The online enrollment process for the 54 000 seats was made on 28 May 2015 at 15 June Offline forms were accepted in the registration centers from 5 June to June 15. DU Cut off list for BSC B.Com 2015-16

As DU released its first BSC B.Com cut-off lists, the race to take admission in the desired colleges began. Students can take admission in the desired course of arts and trade flows in the college of their choice if they meet the thresholds. For the academic session of 2015-16, the thresholds are high enough for some courses. The highest cutoff for English (Honours) at Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) is 98.25%. The highest cutoff for history (honors) at Hindu College is 97.75%. The highest break of Political Science at LSR is 97.75%. The highest cutoff for B. Com. (With Honours) Atma Ram Sanatan Dharam to (ARSD), LSR and the College of Vocational Studies (CVS) is 98%.

The dates for the release of several cut-lists are as follows

  • First cut list – 25 June 2015
  • Second cut list – 30 June 2015
  • List Third cut – July 4, 2015
  • Fourth cutoff list (if applicable) – July 9, 2015
  • Fifth cutoff list (if applicable) – July 14, 2015
  • Sixth cut list (if applicable) – July 20, 2015
  • Seventh cut list (if applicable) – July 24, 2015

In the first list published Wednesday, the cutoff BSc (Hons) Computer was set at 100% in the College of Vocational Studies (CVS) and Indraprastha College for Women (IP) for students who have not studied physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12. A CVS Computer cutting ranges from 95 to 100% at IP College, it is between 97 to 100%.

Last week St Stephen, following a different schedule and the admission procedure, announced its first cut-off list with the greatest requirement for English honors to 99%. The cut-off for a seat in English (Hons) class college works to 99% for trade, 97.75% for science and 97.50% for the Humanities, the highest for any of the topics offered at the university.

for the 2015-16 academic session, the university has received 3.7 lakh applications for admissions which starts Thursday.

Compared to last year, the increase was more thresholds for science subjects than they were for trade and humanities. For popular across the board over the minimum cut was set at 90%. In some colleges, such as Dyal Singh College South Campus, the cutoff saw a jump of 12% in some courses.

English (Hons)

English (Hons) the senior officer who was Delhi University has received the maximum number of applications. With 90,331 applications, the English of the cut is the highest at 98.25% for Lady Shri Ram College for Women. There was 97.25% last year.

Hindu College had a break for English and 97 to 98.5% last year and this year, it is less than 97.5%. Even Hansraj and Miranda House, the cut for English (Hons) is 97.5%.

Although the higher cutoff has not increased much, outside of Bharti College campus, the lowest percentage for English is 90%.

While last year, the lowest cutoff for English (Hons) was 85% at Dyal Singh College, this year it asks for a 96%.

Mathematics (Hons)

This year, no fewer than 66,586 students have applied for 1,993 places available in Mathematics (Hons) in 40 colleges of DU.

Most colleges have kept the cut for Mathematics (Hons), one of the most popular topics, above 90%. The highest cutoff for mathematics (Hons) this year saw an increase of 0.50% with Hindu, Kirorimal College and LSR 97.5% now. Last year, the highest cutoff for the course was 97% in colleges.

The lowest cutoff for the subject is Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, at 87%. Hansraj, IP, Ramjas, Shivaji and Sri Venkateswara maintained at 97%.

Science courses

The course of the year sciences have increased by 0.25% to 8% in colleges. For the two most popular courses in chemistry and physics, most colleges have kept the break above 90%.

The received 62,585 applications for 13.68 seats available in 24 colleges for physical (Hons) this year.

The highest cutoff for physics is at Hindu College at 98%. Last year, Hindu and Hansraj had the best cut for the subject to 97.33%. This year, Hansraj kept even at 97.33% while Kirori Mal, it is 97% and 97.25% LSR.

The lowest cutoff for physics was 91% at Swami Shraddhanand.

For chemistry (Hons), the highest break of 97.33% to Hansraj and Hindu College while the lowest is 92% in Rajdhani College. Even last year, Hindu College had the highest cutoff for chemistry (Hons) at 97%.

The course has received 66,987 applications this year for 1,320 seats in 23 DU colleges.

Social science

Political science and history have had the maximum number of applications this year from the courses of humanities.

This year, the highest cutoff for political science is to Lady Shri Ram College in 97.75% and that history is the Hindu College at 97.75%.

Last year, too Hindu College had a higher percentage at 95-98% for the history of human sciences and students for science students, it was 98%. Hindu had the highest cut 95-98% for Political Science last year too.

There was an increase in the minimum cut-off percentage this year. Last year, the minimum cut for the story was to Vivekananda College 73%, this year it is 75% in Bharti College.

However, for political science, the minimum rest break even at 75% Satyawati College.

For BCom (Pass), the highest cutoff is 99% to Maitreyi College this year, while last year it was 97.25 to 99.75% in Hansraj College.

While for BCom (Honours), the highest cut this year is 98% to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, CVS and LSR. Last year, it was 97 to 99.5% at ARSD college.
