  • Note: India this year announced “the visiting India Year ‘in China to attract more tourists to boost tourism revenues.
  • While less than two lakh Chinese visit India, more Chinese travelers visit Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives to improve their tourism revenue.

India and China sign 24 agreements a record $ 10 billion on bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, science and technology and culture.

Nation pays homage to freedom fighter Sukhdev Thapar (May 15, 1907 – March 23 1931) on his 109th birth anniversary today.
