China launched 20 satellite to its navigation system

China launched a new 20th new generation of satellite navigation system for BeiDou (BDS) in orbit that will support its navigation system and global positioning.

  • The satellite was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan.
  • A Long March 3-B carrier rocket carried the satellite. It was the first time that the satellite featured a hydrogen atomic clock.

India to reduce the emissions intensity of up to 35 percent by 2030

The Union Ministry Environment October 2, 2015 is presented for nationally determined Contributions (INDCs) to the United Nations framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), committing to reduce emissions intensity of GDP by 33-35 percent by 2030 compared to 2005 levels.

  • India is committed to 40 percent of energy from non-fossil fuels to be adopted by 2030. It has also set a goal of generating 3 billion tons of CO2 equivalent of carbon sinks in the form of forests. India aims to mobilize national and international funds to implement, it is mitigation.

Maruthi Suzuki Chairman RC Bhargava has been honored with the Award of best in India Life Time Leadership Award Forbe 2015.

India won the gold medal in the women’s event at the Asian Championship Air Gun

Indian pistol shooter Heena Sidhu won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol event for women at the 8th Air Gun Asian Championships in New Delhi.

  • Heena is the first shooter pistol India to be ranked number one in the world. Shweta Singh of India won the silver medal and Korean shooter Kim Seon A took the bronze medal.
