Government today launched call to action for the free India tuberculosis, a campaign to make the country tuberculosis (TB) free in the next five years.

  • Launched by Health Minister J P Nadda
  • Note: The government will launch a helpline free of charge, where even a missed call would be enough to connect with the health program against the disease.

Single central government employees can now enjoy the benefits of LTC to visit any part of the country, according to a relaxation of the rule.

  • He previously was limited to them use the facility to visit their hometown only.
  • A new order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said the city’s conversion facility in LTC homes to allow travel to different parts of the country, under a special dispensation.
