In the first major terror strike in Punjab in eight years, heavily armed terrorists 3 army uniform sprayed bullets today on a moving bus and stormed the police station Dina Nagar, killing six people including an SP, and wounding eight others in Gurdaspur border Pakistan.

Indian Railways plan to exploit semi-high speed trains from 9 rail corridors, including Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Chandigarh.

To reduce diarrhea deaths in the country, the Ministry of Health of the Union, in cooperation with some international health organizations launched the diarrhea control program Fortnight in 2015 intensified.

Between 27 July and 8 August 2015, Asha (accredited social health activists) workers will carry out several activities in remote areas of states, including paying home visits for distribution of ORS packets to each household with less five years as well as group counseling.

  • He was the chief coordinator of Pokhran II nuclear tests project.
  • He was chief scientific adviser to the Prime Minister and Secretary of the DRDO between 1992 and 1999.
