Name of the Organization: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

Name of the Exam: Joint Entrance Exam Advanced (JEE Advanced 2017)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational qualification: The applicants should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2017.

  1. OBC-NCL: 27 per cent
  2. SC: 15 per cent
  3. ST: 7.5 per cent
  4. 5 per cent is open for all

Attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years.

Examination Schedule:

  1. Paper I : 21st May 2017 – 9 AM to 12 PM
  2. Paper II: 21st May 2017 – 2PM to 5 PM

Important Dates:

Start of Online Application: From the fourth week of April 2017
Release of Admit Card: From the second week to the fourth week of May 2017
Date of JEE Advanced 2017: May 21, 2017
ORS and scanned responses will be displayed in the first week of June 2017
Answer keys will be displayed online in the second week of June 2017
