The Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) has announced the Apprentice Recruitment 2025-26 notification to fill 116 vacancies for Graduate, Technician, and Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Candidates who have completed their Engineering, Diploma, or ITI in relevant trades are eligible to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career with one of India’s oldest and largest ports — Mumbai Port Trust.

Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentice:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) from a recognized University.
- Technician Apprentice:
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) from a recognized Institute.
- Trade Apprentice:
- ITI Certificate in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 14 Years
- Maximum Age: As per Apprenticeship Rules
- Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Stipend:
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000 per month
- Technician Apprentice: ₹8,000 per month
- Trade Apprentice: ₹7,000 per month
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting based on educational qualification marks.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination (if applicable).
