Long Description: OMC Director Recruitment 2026

The Department of Public Enterprises, Government of Odisha, on behalf of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), has issued a notification for the appointment of Functional Directors at OMC Ltd. This recruitment is for top-tier leadership roles—Director (Personnel) and Director (Technical/Operations). These positions are key to the strategic management of the corporation. As these are high-level statutory posts, the selection is conducted through a rigorous screening of applications followed by personal interviews of senior professionals.

Eligibility Criteria for OMC Notification 2026

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
  • Experience: * Applicants should have at least 20 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
    • At least 5 years of experience should be at a senior management level (equivalent to CGM or above) in a large organization/PSU.
  • Internal Candidates: Departmental candidates from OMC are eligible for age relaxation as per internal rules.

Salary: OMC Director Pay Scale

  • Pay Scale: ₹1,35,100 – ₹2,16,800/- (Revised Scale)
  • Perks: Includes DA, HRA, Medical Allowance, Conveyance, and other benefits at par with an Officer of OMC in CGM (E-8) rank.
  • Pay Protection: Allowed for deserving candidates coming from Central/State Governments or CPSEs.

Selection Process for OMC 2026
