UPSC CMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2015

Eligibility for CMS 2016:

Age limit: The age limit for candidates is 32 years since January 1 of the year of admission.

Educational Qualification:-

  1. a) An MBBS degree from a recognized university MCI in India.
  2. b) Candidates appearing for the final year MBBS examination are also eligible.
  3. c) Qualified candidates for the written test are required to submit proof of successful completion of the written examination and practical examination of final MBBS with their application form.
  4. d) A candidate yet complete mandatory rotation internship is eligible but will be appointed only after completing the course.

Nationality: (WHICH MAY APPLY for this exam): –

  1. a) Applicants from India / Bhutan and Nepal can take the examination.
  2. b) The Tibetan refugees who settled in the country before 01/01/1962.
  3. c) Candidates Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma and counties of East Africa, including Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Zaire with the intention to settle in India.

UPSC CMS Registration / Application form

UPSC CMS 2016 application form / Registration: – Apply online at: – www.upsconline.nic

Applicants will be required to complete the online application form con- containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part II according to the instructions available on the website mentioned above via the drop down menu.

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 / -. (Rupees Two Hundred Only) [except SC / ST / Female candidates / PH that are exempt from payment of the tax] or by the deposit of the money in any branch of SBI in cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India / State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur / State Bank of Hyderabad / State Bank of Mysore / State Bank of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore or by using any / Master Credit Card Visa / Debit.

Before you start filling in the online application, a candidate must have his / her photo-TO and duly scanned signature in .jpg format in such a way that each file must not exceed 40 KB and should not be less than 3 KB each size for photography and 1K for signing.

UPSC Exam Paper pattern

Candidates must pass the written examination in two papers, each paper with a maximum of 250 marks. Each paper will last two hours.

Paper I

This Paper I consists of the below questions

  • a) the general capacity – 30 questions
  • b) General medicine – 70 questions
  • c) Pediatrics – 20 questions
  • Total – 120 questions
  • Maximum Marks- 250

Paper- II

  • a) Surgery – 40 questions
  • b) Gynecology & Obstetrics – 40 questions
  • c) Preventive and Social Medicine – 40 questions
  • Total – 120 questions
  • Maximum Marks – 250
  • Personality Test – Test Not carrying 100 marks.
