Hi, Welcome to our website. Here we are providing information regarding UPSSSC VDO exam pattern and syllabus. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has recently released a notification for filling up vast number of Village Development Officer (VDO) vacancies. Large numbers of candidates have been applying for these posts. Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written examination and physical tests. Candidates who will qualify in written examination are only called for physical tests. So, candidates need more practice for written examination. Before start the preparation all candidates clearly understand UPSSSC Panchayat Adhikari Exam Pattern 2016 and syllabus for VDO exam.
UPSSSC VDO Pattern 2016:
UPSSSC conducts written examination for 100 marks and time duration in 2 hours. UPSSSC VDO question paper comprises 3 sections, General Intelligence, Arithmetic and General Knowledge. 100 questions will be asked in question paper and each question will carry 1 mark. There is a negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be credited or deducted for blank answers. Check the below for syllabus for each section.

UPSSSC VDO Syllabus for General Knowledge:
General awareness section is easy to score. Candidates should concentrate on topics like Current affairs, culture, heritage, history, polity, geography, constitution, science and technology, economy and IT.
UPSSSC VDO Syllabus for Arithmetic Ability:
Maximum candidates confused in arithmetic questions. Candidates who will practice on below topics will get better marks. Topics asked in Arithmetic section are percentages, simplification, averages, profit & Loss, Problems on Ages, Time & Work, Interest, Time & Distance, Boats & Streams and Data Interpretation.
UPSSSC VDO Syllabus for General Intelligence:
Data Intelligence will take more time to solve. We have only 2 hours time. So, we need to answer more questions in this limited period. So, practice will increase the speed and knowledge. Topics in General Intelligence are Analogies, differences, problem solving, judgment, similarities, visual memory, observation, analysis, decision making, discrimination, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetic number series, relationship concepts and verbal & figure classification.
